The 12U player of the week goes to Nathan Mugford. Nathan's leadership in the dugout played a major role in both our victories this weekend. He started with getting on base and scoring on his first at bat. He reached base 4 out of 6 at bats scoring 3 times. Nathan also had a solid weekend defensively playing 3 different positions. 12U player of the week was Leif Little. Leif had a sore arm this week but that didn't stop him. He made a few nice plays at 2nd and went 3 for 6 at the plate driving in 2 runs and scoring twice himself. Well done Leif!...
Luca Tamburello is the 12U player of the week. Luca scored 3 runs with 7 at bats driving in 3 RBIs that included 2 singles and a double. Defensively he caught 1 1/2 games and was a wall behind the plate. Great weekend Luca....
The 12U POTW was Michael Atkinson. Michael reached base 5 of 10 at bats during the weekend and made two nice catches in the field. His best performance came in game one when he threw 4 scoreless innings against a very good hitting cardinal team. In fact they only got two hits off Michael. Great job Michael. ...
Daniel Pantarotto is the 12U player if the week. Daniel made a few really nice catches in Centre Field. All six of his at bats were quality at bats facing 42 pitches altogether. He hit a double that drove in 3 RBIs and scored 1 run. Great job Daniel....
This weeks 12U Player of the Week is Cody Kee! Cody did well at the plate going 2 for 6 and earning 1 run! He was defensively strong when he came in twice to pitch, getting the save on both occasions. He even picked off a runner on 1st base to end the game!! Great job Cody!...

He made strong throws to second and third impacting on the Cardinals running game. He went 2 for 3 with a single and a double because of his aggressive base running. He got an RBI and scored a run. For the second week in a row William Hillyard is the 12U player of the week. William played errorless defense and was 3 for 8 at the plate with 3 RBI's and scoring twice. William's pitching gave him the nod for this honour, pitching a 5 inning 2 hitter with only 2 runs allowed, picking up the win for our first win of the season! Way to be William!...
William Hillyard is the player of the week for the 12U Central Ontario Reds. William batted 2 for 4 scoring 2 runs and getting one RBI. Williams most impressive part of the weekend was his pitching, going 3 an 2/3 innings, striking out the side twice and getting 8 strikeouts total while letting up only 3 runs. Great job William!...
12U Player of the week is Blake Da Silva. Blake had a great couple of games this weekend he played solid defense, topped off by starting a run down play when the ball got hit back to him while he was pitching. The player on 3rd got too far off 3rd base, so Blake immediately ran at him, freezing him in his tracks, we got the player out in two throws. As well, in-game two Blake went 3 for 3 scoring 3 time and batting in 2. Blake was personally involved in 5 of our 13 runs, and he was instrumental in our victory. Great job, Blake!...
