This weeks player of the week for the 13U team is Noah Durance. Noah played excellent at first base this weekend and was very effective when he came in to be the relieve pitcher in game two. He struck the ball very well, getting on base numerous times. He topped off the day with a bomb hit to left field that unfortunately bounced over the fence otherwise, it would have been a triple or possible an inside the park home run....

Matty had a very good tournament this past weekend, he got a couple of hits and played well defensively. He threw out a runner at second and was a wall behind the plate. This was his best game as a catcher all year. Well done, Matty....

Alex Went 7-13 this past weekend in the Great Lake World Series. Alex hit 1 triple, 6 singles, and walked 3 more times; Alex also scored 6 runs in 4 games. Alex contributed to the team defensively as well playing a shutdown center field and making a huge diving catch to keep the Reds in their final game on Saturday. Great work, Alex....

Jackson Peach was this weeks player of the week for the 13U team. Jackson was solid at both catcher and 2nd base this past weekend, catching a complete game, a half-game and going in for 2 innings during a game that was played at 38 Celsius. He had some solid hits and many Quality at Bats throughout the tournament. Hats off to all my players who worked hard through the heatwave on Saturday they continued to play as hard as they could, well done. Congratulations, Jackson....
